The Mycelium Packaging Co-op is developing compostable packaging materials grown from mycelium -- the root structure of mushrooms -- as a sustainable replacement for styrofoam and single-use plastics.

Currently in the planning phase, we are developing prototypes for food packaging, shipping materials, and insulation products. Our cooperative model ensures fair wages, shared ownership, and democratic decision-making for all members.

We are seeking mycologists, designers, engineers, and anyone passionate about circular economy solutions to join us in building this venture from the ground up.
