The Bioregional Seed Library Network connects seed savers, growers, and communities across the Southwest bioregion. Our mission is to preserve the genetic diversity of heirloom and native plant varieties adapted to our arid and semi-arid landscapes.
We maintain a catalog of over 400 locally adapted seed varieties, including traditional crops from Pueblo, Navajo, and Hispanic farming traditions. Our network spans 12 community seed libraries across New Mexico, Arizona, and southern Colorado.
Through seed swaps, growing trials, and educational workshops, we empower communities to take control of their food heritage and build resilience against climate change.
